Friends vs. How I Met Your Mother

Did you guys ever watch Friends? Do you guys watch How I Met Your Mother? Well as mentioned before, I looooooooove Friends. So much! How I Met Your Mother, I love too, but here is the thing though. I started watching How I Met Your Mother a few years back but I stopped because I just simply couldn't stand how much they copied Friends. Honestly, it was the same jokes, same plotting, more or less same characters and relationships. There was one point where my siblings couldn't stop talking about the show and I was about to go insane.
Not long ago, I realized that I was all out of series, and me not watching a series is like a Christian not believing in God. It just doesn't work. So I decided to give How I Met Your Mother a second chance. I adore Neil Patrick Harris so I figured that maybe I'd like it more this time. And boy was I right. I love How I Met Your Mother now. Actually, no. I love Barney! He makes the show. He's legen...wait for it...dary!

Truth be told though, I love Barney and he's the only reason I am watching this show but every now and then I keep comparing it to Friends. That is no good, because Friends is my baby.
That is however how I decided to make this post, Friends vs. How I Met Your Mother.

SIMILARITIES
1. Characters. They both have the player (Joey and Barney). They both have the whiney one (Ross and Ted). They both have the new girl that everyone can't later live without (Rachel and Robin)
2. Perfect married couple. Chandler and Monica, Marshall and Lily
3. Hangout place. They both have hang out places they go to all the time.
4. High Fives
5. New York!!

DIFFERENCES
1. Characters. There is one less in HIMYM. Joey is the sweetest person and Barney is the biggest asshole. Ross actually marries everyone while Ted just wants to marry everyone. Rachel is a spoiled girl with big dreams and a passion for fashion and Robin is a bad ass with daddy issues.
2. Perfect married couple. Chandler and Monica started off as friends and didn't fall in love until the middle of the series. Marshall and Lily had already been together for 9 years in the first season.
3. Hangout place. One is a coffee house, the other one is a bar
4. The high five was only Chandler and Monica's thing in Friends. In HIMYM everyone does a high five every now and then with each other

So that is that. Both great shows, but nothing ever beats Friends. Not even Barney. Ha ha. What do you guys think?
Ps. There are more stuff, just google Friends vs How I Met Your Mother and look at images. A whole bunch of stuff come up.

Dream away

I love travelling as I've mentioned before. I have done it a lot and I am going to do it a lot more, to all kinds off places. However right now, there are some places I want to go to more than other places for different reasons.
NEW ORLEANS- because I have a vision in my head that being there is like being in the 1950's and that is just awesome. I also do believe that there are many people in need so maybe some charity work while down there.
LAS VEGAS- Because everything that happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. So basically I can do whatever I want and it won't follow me wherever I go. Sweeeeeet!! ;)
HAWAII- Hawaii has always been on my list. There is just something about wearing a coconut bikini, dancing hula dance and drinking pina coladas on the beach that just makes me say YES PLEASE!
JAMAICA- This has also been a little dream of mine always. I just love the idea of being rasta for a while. Living the high life, listening to raggae and just being completely relaxed. Sounds perfect!
TANZANIA- Obviously I am obsessed with Africa. Everything about it. Tanzania is close to home and I would love to see another coast and another safari and still feel fimiliar. Looks magical. Hakuna Matata.
MARTINIQUE ISLAND- I hear that the Caribbean Islands are just amazing, but this particular island just called out to me when I heard that its name was almost like mine and that is awesome.
TOKYO- Well, I grew up in Asia (Singapore) and not once did I ever go to Japan. All I hear about Tokyo is how wonderful it is. They say that people dress like it is Halloween everyday and I love halloween. Amazing.
ARGENTINA- I don't even know why. I saw a movie once where two girls go camping in Argentina and it just looked so cool. A lot of culture and it has a lot of different veiws.

So that is my list right now. Of course I have a lot more places I want to go to but this list will go on forever if I don't stop now. Where are some of your dream places? :)

Spring Breakers

I do not know about you guys, but I loved the movie Spring Breakers. I have an unhealthy obsession with James Franco, all the girls looked hot and it was just a great movie. And I don't know why but this scene called "Everytime", I for some reason find so beautiful. Horrible and sad but beautiful. Anyway, watch the movie if you haven't seen it. Peace xx

Walk & talk

Yesterday I obviously woke up at Rita's and I was soooo tired I didn't want to get up. Eventually I got up and we had breakfast. Later we walked to town and met up with Julia. We all had lunch in town together, we walked around and went to different stores and looked around a bit. We then went to Julia's place and made dinner, noodles and prawns. Then we got the idea to do each other's make up the way we do our own make up. So first Rita did mine, and it literally looked like I wasn't wearing make up but since I hadn't fixed my hair that day, I looked more like Hagrid than myself. Julia did Rita's make up and Julia wears A LOT of make up so that was a change. After that I did Julia's make up bi Julia kind off looked like a pornstar in my dark colors haha. Jesper then came over wearing a one peice but we didn't hang out at Julia's for much longer so we went out and we walked around for several hours. I'd say around five hours doing nothing, going nowhere and even that was amazingly fun. Got home pretty late though and the bus home was... Well I don't even have words for that.oh well, at least I had fun.

Wot wot

Yesterday Sophia invited a few friends over to celebrate her twentieth birthday, myself included in that. First we had some dinner and wine, then more wine and then some more. Music was playing and there was a lot of laughing. Later we went to the karaoke bar Ice and we sang the night away. Then Amanda and her friend came over for a while too. The funniest thing was when this guy walks up to me with two roses and says that I am the most beautiful woman he's ever seen and he won't give up until I'm his haha!! Creepy. After the bar, we went to mcdonalds and then I spent the night at Rita's. Now we are wide awake, getting ready to meet up with Julia.

Bridegroom

I want to write a bit more about the post from yesterday about gay rights. Here's the thing, I may not be the smartest, brightest or happiest person out there, I care for many but I may not always show it in a way that others want me to and I may not know very much about how things work out in the world, but here is what I do know; and that is that love is love, no matter race, age or gender. Truth is, that we all have stereotypes, even though I hate to admit it, I am no better than anyone else. But I do not see others as labels, I don't point out fat or skinny, black or white, girl or boy and maybe that is what bisexual means but again, why do I need to label that?

I got this comment on my post about Ellen Page;

AnonymousFebruary 17, 2014 at 2:32 PMare u gay? no lies.

Here is my answer: so what if I am? Would that be the only thing that would define me? Because let me tell you, that there is so much more to me than my sexuality. But to answer the question the way you want me to, yes, I am in a way, but I thinks it is more to the bisexual side.

Yesterday, I was talking to Jesper and he told me to watch a documentary called Bridegroom. His exact words however were "you will cry!" and I was kind off laughing it off thinking that there isn't any movie I haven't cried too. So I watched it and oh.my.god, I had to pause the documentary in the middle because I couldn't hear what they were saying because my sobs were too loud. It kept me up all night and I have been thinking about it all day. It is about this guy called Shane who grew up in a small town in the United States, and as he became a teenager, he realized that he was gay which led to him being not only bullied by his classmates but he wasn't allowed to come to any school events anymore. So after he graduated, he drove down to LA to start a new life, and that was when he met Tom. An entertainer from a small town and almost at once did flowers bloom and they fell in love. Throughout their relationship they struggled with family members not accepting etc, but they held together for 6 years until Tom fell off the roof and died in 2011 leaving Shane heartbroken and alone. Shane later got threats from Tom's family saying that they will attack him if he comes to the funeral. Imagine not being able to go to the love of your lives funeral because of ignorance and hatred? The story completely broke me apart and I have been emotional all day. And for this I blame my good friend Jesper. Anyway, its a really touching, beautiful love story and I highly recommend it, but not without lots and lots of tissues.
Here is the trailer, watch it!!!!

And finally, I'd like to express my appreciation for the organasations for LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) and say that I think their work is absolutly amazing and that I truly believe that they are making this world a better place by helping those who are in need.

On Wednesdays we wear pink

Mean Girls came out on April 30th, 2004. This year is the 10th anniversary and it just so happens that April 30th 2014, falls on a Wednesday. As we all know, on Wednesdays we wear pink. So lets get the whole world to honour the cult movie of our generation and wear pink on April 30th, 2014 because that would be totally FETCH!

AND DON'T FORGET: Everyone wants a little piece of the Spring Fling crown so share it to all of your main bitches! Okay bye, love ya!

Because maybe we can all make a difference

Ellen Page, you all know her, right? The inspiring actress from movies such as Juno and Inception. I've always liked her because I always saw her as a natural actress who wasn't trying to be anything other than herself, unlike many others in her business. The day after Valentines day i heard from a friend that she had come out of the closet the day before, but I hate labels, and I try to not look at someones sexuality as a big deal. Just now however, I was looking at some videos on Youtube when I came across Ellen Pages coming out video. As great as I thought she was before, I know think she's amazing. The video gave me an inspiration kick and it even made me shed some tears. So please, check the video out and take what she says into deep consideration.

Laughter and smiles

Jesper and I are very close, and we have the type of friendship where we can talk about anything and say anything to one another and we understand each other, and in one way or another we joke and laugh about it, even if it's not always that funny. We do however not get to hang out as often as one might think. Today though we got to hang out, just the two of us and as to be expected, it was fun. We ate super much junk food, listened to 2013 biggest hits, danced around, dressed up, snapchatted everyone possible. Good times oh lord!

Saturday

How was y'all valentines day? Mine was good in case anyone was wondering. I hung out with Julia for a bit, we ate ice cream and talked boys, what else to talk about on valentines day? Then I went to @"&kr('-/: and valentines day was spent like it's suppose too. I left @"&kr('-/: today after hanging out for a bit. Julia came later. I then had dinner at Julia's place and watched some tv. After that I took the bus to ljunghusen where I met Alex and zach who I use to go to school with like three years ago. I hadn't seen them in forever, all we did was walk around and talked and laughed about the old days but it was nice. I'm home now watching Hannah Montana, drinking tea hahaha.
I didn't take any pictures but James Franco is my favorite actor and the love of my life. I've decided to marry him someday haha so I'll post this picture. James Franco is my valentine❤️❤️

Time for retirement?

Today I went out biking for two hours, and then I went to the gym. I cheated though cause I ate a muffin, some candy and because of the stupid Facebook nomination thing I drank a truck of beer! But I am tired now and already in bed so something right I had to do today. I spend a lot of my days alone but this was the first day in a long time where I didn't feel like complaining about being alone. So question, does that make me old for my age haha? Well I sat alone on a bench for a while and enjoyed the sun that almost was and read into my philosophical mind. Time to career soon because with my maturity (or not), I need to retire soon. Now I nominate whoever reads this to drink a truck of beer and then read into your minds. Cheers!!

In sickness and in health

Yesterday after I left Amanda's place, I went to see my grandmother. She's been alone a lot lately so I figured it would pretty nice to spend some time with her. We had pizza and ice cream. I looked through her wedding photos and so on. Then I bumped into Rita and went over to her place. I dyed her hair etc. now I am really sick, pretty sure I have pneumonia but we will see. Could also just be the worst cough and cold sweats of all time. So now I'm going to sleep for a bit. Hope you readers are doing better than I am. Btw, saw a good Australian movie last night, "adore". A bit f***ed up but I liked it. So watch it. Peace!

Reunited

Amanda, a girl I hadn't seen since like June who I was once so close to, had her 19th birthday and took me by surprise when she asked if I wanted to go to a bar for a few birthday drinks with her. Of course I said yes. Amanda brought another friend with her too and she was really nice. It was so good seeing Amanda again. We didn't however stay at a bar for that long before we decided to go clubbing at KB. I personally feel like I'm too old for that, especially for +18 cause malmö has sucked out the party side of me but it was still good, and I enjoyed myself
:)

Out of control

A few days ago, Kajsa and I talked about how weird it was that we live so close, we are both alone most of the time but we never see each other unless there's a get together or a party or something. So last night we decided to have taco night, and we did but she also had some wine with her so after a few glasses too many we listened to music and danced around. Then we watched titanic and we both got emotional. Haha good night.

University search

Yesterday, I took my friends to this thing called study abroad that was going on at a hotel called savoy. It was going on at a conference room and different stands representing different schools from different countries. Australia, USA, Germany, Italy, England, etc. I got a lot of inspiration and got attached to a few schools. So time to plan the future haha. There was one special school called Sunshine Coast that I fell so in love with. So right now, that's my goal. Where do you guys want to study? :)

Walking down memory lane

Last night, I was thinking about movies and the truth is my favorite movie ever is The Lion King. I love it. But then I started thinking about how I use to watch it as a kid, and that got me thinking about other movies I watched as a kid. So I got this huuuuge craving for Disney movies. Not the new ones like Brave and stuff, but real Disney. So I downloaded a bunch of Disney movies (Pocahontas, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Sleeping Beauty, Mulan). Today when I was sulking in my loneliness, I decided to watch Sleeping Beauty. Oh my god, I don't think I'd seen it in about 15 years but I remembered everything when I saw it. Much Love. Disney all the way!

Amen

Rita told me about this song and said that she just knows that I am going to love it. Together we watched the video and heard the song and boy, she couldn't have been more right. I realized that I was way too quick to judge Macklemore thinking that he thinks he's all that when actually, he is pretty much rapping my religion. So afuckingmen to that. Same Love, beautiful and so honest!

Crazy cray weekend
