Times do change

My time here in Australia has been so long, my life looks completely different now then what it did when I first moved here. Up until June it was Bea and I against the world. We lived together and we did everything together. Every day was a new adventure and I was devastated when she left for Sweden :( But nowadays it feels like my entire time with Bea was just a dream. Our first two months together, when I first got here in February, we lived together with a woman called Kim and the three of us became very close, and would do everything together. We were like a small little family and it wasn't easy saying bye to Kim either, who was replaced by Matt. He seemed like a very sweet boy at first, which he was too but the longer time went by, the less we got along, so one day he dropped the bomb on us and told us that he was moving out the next day and expected his bond back. We stressed out for a bit but lucky for us we found two new housemates, Dominic and Laityn, who I still live with today. It was important by then that we would have two new roommates because Bea was just leaving 2 and a half weeks later.

Bea left, and it was empty for a while but I grew closer to other people. I do not either live in the same apartment as I used to. Dominic and I found a house where a couple let us move in. They've moved out now so two of my other friends moved in. Laityn, who unexpectedly has become much more than just a friend to be also lives with me a few nights a week, when he isn't working out on the boat. I do not either go out as much because many of my friends here are underaged, but when I do, I go out with Linn who has become a very good friend to me, and I see her at least 3 days a week. She is basically my only girlfriend here that I am really close to (obviously not the only girl I know) so I am really happy to have her here. But then I have other friends to such as Zac and Dakoda. As mentioned, Laityn has also become an important person to me. It was unexpected and our relationship escalated fast. He is someone I would never have seen myself with, mostly because of his age that is years younger than mine, and I have never dated anyone younger. But the way I feel about him, I've never felt about anyone before <3

Hogsbreath and Monster

Today has been a very long day, but also a very good one. It started with Laityn waking me up early, telling me to dress up nice because he is taking me out <3 So I did, after really struggling to get out of bed, and then he took my to the restaurant Hogsbreath which is a lovely place that is famous for their steaks, so we had a steak each. He then took me to Fudgees, the best store in the world. A candy store filled with all types of candy, yay! It was awesome. Him and I later went to the beach for a bit before he had to head off to work. Won't see him until Thursday :( Boohoo. Linn then joined me at the beach and the weather was so hot that we sunbathed for a couple of hours, and then we went for Bali massages which was so totally worth it. As I was telling Linn about Hogsbreath, she was so temped to go there so once again i showed my face there, but I was not too hungry so I just had an appetiser. Then we went to Linn's place, and she had never seen the movie Monster and I personally think it is a great movie, so we watched that before I went home. Now I just watched Starwars with Zac and I am so exhausted I feel like I might pass out any second now. But I'll blog soon again, promise <3 So long, everyone!

Train Wreck

Yesterday I actually wasn't feeling the greatest, just over tired but even so I managed to finish an assignment and send it in. With some help of a subway sandwich that my friends so nicely went down to get for me. Tuna!! Never goes wrong with that haha. Then my beautiful boy decided to take me out to the movies. He bought me candy and a coke and took me to see Train Wreck. I personally thought it was hilarious and would recommend it to anyone with a sense of humor. I have been to the movies a lot lately and there are so many more I want to see! Inside Out and Paper Towns. Must see asap!!! Gonna have to convince him to take me out again soon ;) haha. Today I hung out with "him" again haha and then I took my dog for a walk. I later went over to Linn's and we made pizza and watched the Swedish television show Solsidan. Funniest show ever. Love it! We later went to taps. She decided to go out but I went home instead, trying to take it easy for a while. Right now I am in bed cuddling with Marley :) Hope everyone has a good nights sleep <3

New Housemate

We got a dog!!! Awwww she's just a few months old and she's a mix of all type of breeds but she is just the cutest little girl ever. Her name is Marley and she was a gift from our friend Fin. It is actually Dominic's dog but she lives with all of us and we all have to help take care of her when we have time. Last night she actually slept in my bed and it was so cosy having her there. But that can't happen every night, no no! Now I am watching her while Dominic is out and about doing stuff. She has pooped all over the house and the car so she still needs to be potty trained but we will teach her all that stuff along the way. I am so excited. Welcome to our home little Marley <3

Just another week

As I've been recovering from a horrible sickness this week, I've actually managed to do more things than I expected. I've been to uni, studied and actually been on a couple of adventures. As usual I've hung out with Linn most days. She's literally like the only girlfriend I have here so I am not going to let go of her any time soon. On Wednesday I went to Buderim waterfalls with Laityn, Dominic, Sharny and Darrien. Buderim waterfalls is a beautiful place <3 I've only been there once before with Bea but that was a long time ago so it was fun to see it again. I then had dinner at a pizza place with Linn during the night. Then on Thursday I pretty much spent the entire day studying. Oh the joy! And yesterday, for some reason I was exhausted! I haven't felt that type of tiredness in forever. I went to bed around midnight on Thursday night, woke up around 12 on Friday, could hardly drag myself out of bed so I closed my eyes. When I thought it had only been three minutes I opened my eyes again and turned out it was past three o'clock in the afternoon :O I don't remember sleeping for that long in forever. And crazy thing is, I still felt so tired. But I did force myself out of bed, ate some dinner and then Linn came over with some ciders and captain morgan. We started drinking, got a little out of it and took a cab to Old Soul, a nightclub and stayed there for half the night. After the club we went for a few kebabs and when I got back around 2-3, I almost crashed instantly. I woke up today around 11, hungover but not at all as tired. I got out of bed and went to Subway with Linn. I then ended up at Linn's place and bored out of our minds, we decided to go to the movies to see Antman. Personally I loved it! I thought it was perfect. Now I am sitting at home, talking to Linnea on Facebook and trying to decide what else I can do tonight.

Fancy dinner and good company

Yesterday I woke up at 12 and realised that I'd slept for 13 hours!!!! I haven't had a sleep in in FOREVER! And I felt much better! I actually socialised with my friends and I got a lot of studying done too thank the lords1 haha and didn't spend the day in bed. During the afternoon my friends Dominic, Zac and I decided to make some fancy dinner for our selves. So we drove to Coles and bought all bunch of stuff. I made a pasta salad and a sauce, Dominic made a potato salad and desert and Zac made two different types of meat which was amazing. We ate so much neither of us could hardly stand up afterwards we were so full. The fullness literally put Dominic in a food coma and he was pretty much past out for the rest of the night. Zac and I then decided to go buy some wine which we did and we joined Rhyce and Kyuss down to the beach where we drank and socialised. It has been a while since I had a drink so both Zac and I got tipsy and had a laugh attack all the way home. The four of us then spent about two hours playing Cards Against Humanity which is the funniest game ever! I hadn't laughed like that in a while. After the game Zac and I got into a heavy discussion about movies and FINALLY I've found someone with the same love for old movies as I have! He hadn't seen Rebecca which is an amazing movie from the 1940's and I just had to show it to him. We were up until 2.30 watching it. Today I feel a lot better again, I didn't even need to take my night nor my morning pill which is awesome. At the moment I am sitting on my balcony enjoying the lovely day, working on an essay. I don't have uni until the afternoon which is sweet!

Bronchitis

Sorrrrryyyyyyy for the absent me! I know I haven't blogged in a week or more... shame on me! But truth be told I've been so sick for almost a week! And today I found out that I have something called bronchitis which is an infection in the chest and it makes me cough heaps and it burns my chest :( but not to worry, I have medication for it so I shall be well very soon. During my non-blogging week however, I actually did go to university some days despite my sickness, except I skipped Friday because I couldn't even manage to breathe properly so it was hard getting out of bed :( But Linn came over during the night when I felt a bit better and we cooked dinner together. She then spent the night because it got to late for her to walk all the way back anyway. The day after she drove around looking for a car to buy and she managed to get one at last ! yay! I came with her for a few of the many drives around the coast but since I feel like crap I wasn't much help since I just slept in the backseat anyway, so I stayed home for the most part. But my boy took care of me so I wasn't completely alone and sad ;) I also actually managed a short trip to the plaza to get my medicin and there I also bought a thicker blanket because it can get so cold in my house at night. I've just gotten from Linn's where I ate donuts and watched Sixth Sense. Despite my killing chest pains and occasional cough attacks, I actually feel so much better and more energetic which is good. Seems like the medication is already working its magic ;)
