Melrose Place

Anyone who knows me, knows that I absolutly just love series from the 90's. Dawson's creek, Friends, you name it. Especially Beverly Hills, 90210 (the first four seasons). Aaron Spelling, the producer of that, also made the show Melrose Place around the same time. I figured that I needed to watch that too. I am about half way through season one and I already love it. It is not half as good as 90210, but it is pretty damn good. Go 90's!!

Always look on the bright side of life

When we think off war, we think off blood, and hatred and people killing each other. It can't be easy being a marine and risking your life by going into another country. Another "world" in a way. I can only imagine how important and special it must be, to really spend time and make as much good of the situation with the people around you, on the same team who is going through the exact same thing as one self. The happy moments are the times to value, and not only in war.
Swedish marines who are now in Afghanistan, made a parody video of Greased Lightning. The video became so popular that it even made the Swedish news. It is so entertaining to watch. Here is the video. Enjoy darlings :)

Longest days

The past few days... I don't even know what I've been doing. I've been everywhere, met everyone, done everything. I don't even want to go into detail, I'm so exhausted. But that's my excuse for my bad updates. Soz guys! Been very spontaneous lately and I'm exhausted hahha. So bed time for me. Good nighty lovelies❤️

The Real

I was just casually looking at YouTube videos when I stumbled upon this. "The Real". Have any of you ever seen Girl Code on MTV? It is kind off like that. It is these women sitting and discussing different things, guys, celebrities, relationships, etc and it is so funny. They call themselves "none white" and the way they talk and describe things. Ha ha god I love it. There are so many of these videos. Check them out. So good. Here are three of the videos that I've stumbled upon tonight.

Shopping.

My mum is here now but she's leaving tomorrow. Today we went to the mall called toppen which is super close to my place and we went around looking at clothes in different stores. Since I moved to Kenya, I've kind off lost the will to shop. Like I do not think it is as fun as I use too. Today though, it was pretty nice because I went into more fancy stores. I ended up buying a sweater from saint tropez. It was in all kinds of colors and after trying on every single one of them, I decided to go for the peach color, yay me.

Celebrate good times come on

It is actually so crazy how everything in my life has changed the past months, or year or whatever. I think about it often and I blog about it even more ha ha. People complain that I sleep away half the day and I'm always like "well, I've always slept long" which I have, but now when I think about it, there were several days when I needed to wake up at like 6am in Kenya to do things. And yes, I was crumpy in the morning, but I was excited to do things those days, like travel somewhere or go on a fieldtrip. Then there was school, I had to get up pretty early for that and I didn't mind it. And even on those days when I had nothing to do, I would still get up at like 11 which is early for me on a weekend now, and I would just do a lot of things those days. I'd sunbathe and swim in the pool, go to Junction, sit at Art Cafe for hours and hours, go out for drinks with my friends, party the night away. I don't even enjoy partying anymore and I've been blaming it on the fact that I am growing up but I mean, we all know that is not the case, I am just bored partying here. I have nothing to celebrate. I use to just celebrate that it was Friday but it isn't fun doing that here. I'm looking through pictures now from 2012-2013, I use to celebrate so many things because so much happened. I loved that.

Spirits, satan, pizza, awks

Bea, my little undercover ginger is one of my best friends from Kenya. My last term there we hung out all the time, everywhere. Of course that changed when Sweden happened. She lives too far away for that to be possible but close enough for us to meet up every once in a while. Yesterday was one of those days when we both were available to meet up. It had been months since I saw her last, so i almost at once, when I'd gotten home from bt's yesterday, re-packed my back, took the bus to malmö and then then long ass train to my little Betty boo!! When I walked off the train and saw her like ten meters away, I ran like the f***ing wind to her. That's how much I've missed her and all my Kenyan swedes. Her dad drove us to her place, we watched awkward, danced around her house, ate pizza and a bunch of junk food. Since we are both believers in ghosts, we decided to do a ouija board, and guess what, it worked! We got so scared that we decided to bring out the liquor and have them coming until we got bubbly and glad. I spent the night and today we have been laying on her coach like potatoes watching girl code. Good days. 

Games and fake money

Yesterday, I went to bt's place with Julia and Jesper. Rita was already there when we arrived obviously. First we had really good dinner, pasta pesto with chicken. Yum!! After that we ate chips and played iPhone games which were really fun. Jesper had a game with him that was kind off like poker but you get dares and earn money that way. We however didn't use real money. It was a really fun game and we played for hours. I almost lost all my money for a while but then I won it all back when I kissed my foot and everyone bet that I couldn't do it. Later we just sat up the whole night talking and laughing. It was a good night. 

Unhealthy Love

Have any of you ever watched Keeping Up With The Kardashians? Well I have and I know 50% of you are probably thinking "stupidity" which it kind off is but I have an unhealthy love for Khloe and Rob Kardashian. Especially Khloe. She is so funny and even though some of her jokes are a bit inappropriate sometimes, I still can't help my laughing. The two of them are for sure the two smartest ones and they are so funny and cute. So if you haven't watched it, then watch it for them because they are hilarious.

Tattoo #3

As spoken about before, I have two tattoos. One on my arm and one on my hand. I absolutely love tattoos and I've been wanting to get a third one for so long. I'm thinking that now is the time. Like next week or the week after that. The tattoo is going to be on my leg, right above my foot and it's going to be my idols autograph. I've drawn it there and I'm going to keep the drawn one on my leg for a few days to see how comfortable I am with it. :) 

Wednesday

Wednesday, the most boring day of the week, besides Tuesdays. Tuesdays are the most boring days. I decided however to have a little fun today so I went to town. I met Karin, I haven't seen her in forever so we decided to meet up today. We had lunch at espresso house, I had a chicken a mozzarella sandwich. We went shopping and bought candy haha. I'm on the bus now on my way to the grocery store to buy some stuff. Then home to watch a movie or something. Peace xx

Perfect Person.

Got this question from a reader:

that is a beautiful story. nobody is perfect. but i got an essay in school where i had to describe someone who to me would be the perfect person. it was actually insteresing. it would be awesome to see how you would describe the perfect person to you. could u do a post about that sometime? would be cool.

When I first read this question, I thought that it was kind off crazy and I really had to think about it. I don't believe in perfection because I think that the bad has to exist for us to know whats good. But I thought about it and I don't know if I can ever describe a perfect person but as earlier shown, I do love TV series, so I think I'm going to describe someone as close to perfect as possible, using different personalities and qualities from different TV characters :)

My "perfect" person would:

1. Have the confidence of Naomi Clark (90210)

2. Have the heart of Brooke Davis (One Tree Hill)

3. Be a child at heart like Joey Tribbiani (Friends)


4. Have the attitude of Spike (Buffy The Vampire Slayer)

It's snowing

I was in my room all day studying and then I went out of the room, looked out the window and it was snowing. Usually I hate snow, but I haven't really seen snow in three years so I got kind off excited. I put on my winter coat, hat, gloves an uggs and went out to play in the snow. I started walking and then it got really cold, and wet and super dark. And I couldn't see the K'a and A's on the ground (if you knew me personally, you'd understand). A means bad luck and K means bad luck and I didn't know what I was stepping on. Then I didn't know what way home was the fastest so I started freaking out and I fell over and I think I've got a bruise on my ass. I tried calling all my friends but no one picked up. Now I'm finally home, cold and wet and drinking tea. Lesson learned. Never playing in the snow again. I hate snow.
