Last Day of 2014

I can't believe it, I never got my head wrapped around the fact that it was 2014, and kept thinking it was still 2013 and now I have to think two years ahead! Oh, time flies by so fast! I for one, can't wait for the new year and personally think that it is going to be a great one. New country, new adventure and brand new chapter in my life! Only like six week or so before I move to the land down under and before that I will be going to Holland, Stockholm, buy a Mac, a camera, have a goodbye party, so what can possibly go wrong with this year?

For New Years I have decided to stay home. I was actually suppose to go to Rita's because there is a party going on there tonight but I got really sick a few days ago, fever, cold, that whole thing and I am feeling a bit better, but I am still lousy and I have a hard time staying out of bed for too long :( But I'll make the best of it, I'll order pizza, watch a good movie and just relax. Not bad and I'll have plenty more opportunities to make up for it some other day.

2014 has been a very plain year. It hasn't been a very fortunate one and I've been sort of down about it but to be honest, I really don't care anymore because it is over, and I am excited about the new year and I have good friends here that have tolerated my craziness in my misery. So the thing about 2014 that I am thankful for, then it is the friends the year has given me. People I will miss, fill my walls with pictures of, and look forward to seeing whenever I come to visit.

My New Years Resolution will be to do as good as possible in school, get my sleep rhythm back on track, and just enjoy my every minute in Australia! :D

Davos

Greetings from a frozen girl. I literally can't feel my fingers right now which is making writing this really hard at the moment. Last night and today however has been lovely!! Last night we went to the Hanson family for dinner, which was really fun. They are good friends of my parents who also have a house here so we have been spending a lot of time with them lately. Then today my family went skiing again so I took the train to Davos, a bigger town not far from here. The snow was unbelievable so I tried staying inside the shops for as long as possible. I then found a nice restaurant that I had lunch at, pizza and a hot chocolate. I pretty much took the train back home then and met my parents on the way home. When I got home I finished reading "Mr Miracle" which was a cute little Christmas story so now I'm deciding which book to read next. My sister and I then started watching A Million Ways To Die In The West but never got a chance to finish because we then got guests. An English family my mother had met in the slopes, and the eldest child had actually been to Sunshine Coast which got me really excited and we had a nice conversation and I can't wait any longer! A friendly English couple who just rented the house above us, joined in later on some wine and they were really nice too but it didn't take long for all of us to freeze since we stood outside. Now I am trying to heat myself up while I wait for dinner to be ready, my favourite food of all time, raclette! Mmmmmmmm!

The next two months

Today the streets in Klosters are filled with snow! Snow is beautiful, but when it comes to being in it, I'd rather not. But my family is out skiing today so I've been going for a walk in the snow, and now I am sitting at Bärs, a cafe, checking my email, planning my next two months.

The next two months are going to be crazy. Less than two months from now I will be in Australia, getting used to my new lifestyle. But before that, theres a lot to do, a lot to buy:

• Buy a Macbook
• Book my flight to Aussi
• Find a place to live
• Go to Amsterdam to see my brother :)
• Go to Stockholm to see my lovelies there one more time :)
• Buy clothes suitable for the Aussi weather
• Buy hats!
• Buy a camera

My Xmas

I hope you all had a good Christmas, or if you are celebrating today, I then hope your day will be filled with love and happiness. My Christmas was lovely. The day started early on the slopes. I didn't ski that much so I spent most of the time sitting at a restauarant waiting for the others to finish, bonding with waiters. It was actually nice, lots of alcoholic hot chocolates though but can't complain. Around 1 or 2 we got back home and got dressed up nicely. We then had Christmas dinner at like 4 which was yummy! At 6, we went to church actually which is something I never do since I am not a huge believer but it was nice. The service was held in English and I met some people I used to know as a teenager that I haven't seen since. When we got back home, we ate chocolate and carrot cake. We then opened our gifts and I am sooooo pleased with what I got. Really Amazing Gifts! So I am excited. When we get to Sweden next week, we get to open our gifts from our grandparents and such so I'll show everything I got then. The day ended with the Hitchcock movie Rebecca. Today everyone is skiing but I feel that I've had enough for a few days so right now I am sitting at a cafe drinking hot chocolate :)

Klosters

This morning I woke up super early, before anyone else but thats OK because we needed to anyway since we were driving to Klosters, in other words, my parents place in the Alps. It took about two hours to get here and we needed to take two cars since we are five family members and we had a lot of things to bring such as food, Christmas gifts etc. We don't have WiFi at our place here so right now I am sitting at a restaurant of a hotel, drinking a coke. Exciting news though, I skid for the first time in six years today! Six years ago, I didn't like skiing and today, I still feel like I don't enjoy it too much but I am happy I did it at least. The mountains were beautiful at least and this place is really soothing so I'm glad we decided to come. The reason I hadn't skid is because I got injured pretty badly while playing basketball and needed surgery in my knee. I ended up being on crutches for half a year and all my nerves are damaged in it, but I can write an entire post about that some other day. But because of that, I can't keep up nor ski as much as the rest of my family, so I went down earlier and for all I know the rest is still up in the mountains. It hurt like a bitch skiing too but I shouldn't complain. At least I did it! So yay me! Lets see how I feel tomorrow!

Beautiful day

I didn't sleep very good last night again so I took a long nap this morning. I then went grocery shopping with my mum and sister, when we got back we had a great lunch. After a while my mum, my siblings and I went to town. We didn't go shopping but we look around and Zurich is a gorgeous place. And the weather was good today so it looked really nice all over. Now I am watching some Boy Meets World while waiting for dinner. Tomorrow we are driving to the alps which is going to be really nice :) soon Xmas woohoo!!!

Siblings

I had an awesome nights sleep. FINALLY! Felt so good to finally get to sleep. I had a good breakfast with my parents and brother, got ready and then my parents and I drove to Basel to pick up my sister, Ebba from the airport there. It was actually a really fun ride, with good music. When we got back, we took a bunch of weird photos and videos with my brother. We spent the rest of the afternoon resting, and then we had a really good and fancy dinner. Now we are wrapping presents and listening to music. Super cosy!

Zurich

Another long day has gone by but I can't complain. My dad and brother picked me up at the airport this morning and we drove home. I then followed my parents to the supermarket and ate my lunch quickly when I got back. I then fell asleep for a little bit before waking up, getting ready and headed to town with my brother. We did some shopping, some coffee drinking. It was really fun. When we came home our parents had made us a lovely fancy dinner yum! I am now in the bathtub which is huge and I love it!  I'm exhausted and I really think tonight I may get a good night sleep. Isn't that great?

Starbucks

Best coffee place ever and now I finally have some yum yum in me! I hung out with Olivia last night until like two, then I fell asleep and woke up at 4. My mum called me a bit more than an hour later to make sure I was awake. At 6 the taxi was outside my house and he drove to the train station, which took me to the airport. And here I am! Waiting for my flight. I'm really excited to get out of Sweden for a bit and even more excited for Christmas!!!!! Woohoo!!!! It was a bitch though to get everything to fit in my suitcase but I managed so yay!
