Hello!! This has been a very, very long day. But a good one. After my coffee making, I took a long walk, bought some apples. I watched some TV, chatted with a bunch of friends on Facebook and then I headed to Malmö to meet Rita. When I got to town it was pouring so we went to the movies and watched The Good Lie. Ahhhh man! It was sad! I don't think there was a minute during that movie when I didn't cry. And I even saw Rita cry for like the first time ever during the movie. It was about the war in Sudan during the 1980's and how many kids had to flee to refugee camps in Kenya to not be taken and become child soldiers or die. So it was about a couple of kids who had lost both their parents and were escaping, on the way they lost some siblings but four of them remained unharmed as they got to Kenya. Thirteen years later they get the opportunity to go to America with an immigration program and they start their lives all over again. As someone who's lived in Africa, and seen people in need, I thought the movie was amazing, but way too sad for any ones own good. I am also very sensitive to the sound of gunshots so I was basically freaking out at certain times and at one point I jumped so high I almost flew into Rita's lap. That sound... gosh! Hate it! But it was a great movie and I recommend it strongly.
