My next tattoo

I have been waiting two years for a new tattoo and I've been saving up money all year for one so I am going to do it soon. But since I am also getting a new Mac, I am considering doing it after Christmas instead. I am just sooooo ready now to get inked up! Love tattoos!

21. My favorite show

FRIENDS! Whoever reads this blog or knows me personally, knows that I love TV shows. I've probably written a million times that my two favorite shows are Friends and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. And then there's 90210, One Tree Hill etc that I love too.

Friends though, the show I've seen 13 times from beginning to end. The show that I can just put on any time and I will feel better. It is the show that I can just sit and think about and wish that I knew the characters personally. It is the perfect show, every bit of it is so good. It is easy for others to say "it is just a show" but they are so wrong that I want to punch them. It is so much more than that. It is perfection (anyone who's seen the show would laugh now). It can make my day in a second and I have so much love for this show I can't explain. Whoever hasn't seen it has really missed out on one of the greatest creations.

20. The importance of education

How important do I think education is? Well, in this day and age, I'd say that it is very important, and it is getting more and more important everyday. There are not a lot of places that would hire an uneducated employ. The more experience one has to write down on their resume, the bigger chance it is for someone to make it and have a good life. Of course there are the fortunate ones who get lucky enough to make it even as drop outs but times have changed and it isn't that simple anymore. Speaking as someone who is more street smart than book smart, I wish there were more ways to show talent and skills, but it is what it is. However some of our legends are high school drop outs and still made it to the top; Albert Einstein, Quentin Taratino, Kurt Cobain, Robert Deniro, Al Pacino are all HIGH SCHOOL drop outs and look where they are. Ellen Degeneres, Mark Zuckerberg, Brad Pitt, Steve Jobs and Oprah Winfrey are college drop outs. That is proof that anything is possible but it is getting harder now without an education.

Thanksgiving dinner

Heluuuu!! I didn't get any sleep last night so I came home at like seven and crashed instantly and woke up now haha. When I woke up I was still full because Rita and BT had a little dinner party. It was "thanksgiving" but we didn't have a turkey, but a chicken instead and since we are such an international group everyone brought food from their nationality. I brought Swiss and Kenyan meals. It was so good all of it! Then we watched If I Stay which was so sad :( I cried. And now I really want to read the book. We also watched like three of the Saw movies. It was a good night with great company :) 

19. Disrespecting parents

Haha isn't this a part of being a teenager? I think so! When you get into your twenties you realize that your parents just want the best for you so you actually turn to them for help when you need to. Also at my age, all the things me and my friends did to be "cool" as teens, we can go legally now so it isn't a big deal anymore and nothing to get in trouble for.
However my teenage days were pretty fun. I was a rebel for sure, a "too cool for school" brat and turned into a hormonal bitch at the age of fourteen. But honestly I think it is apart of growing up to go through the teenage years which means disrespecting your parents by doing things that they don't approve off. It isn't exactly the parents job to just stand by and let it happen, but it is their job to understand. If I wouldn't have been so annoying as a teenager, I wouldn't have learned from my mistakes and I wouldn't be growing into the woman I am today, being on my own two feet with two jobs and an acceptance letter to UNI.

However if someone in their twenties would be disrespecting their parents now the way teenagers do, is just sad. That is a huge sign that the person hasn't grown up and still feels the need to act out and that can be caused by many different things. Obviously there are also many ways to disrespect and reasons more someone doing so and some may even be understanding.

18. My beliefs

I think that it is safe to say that I am not the religious type. But I do believe in God. When I say God, I do not mean a man with a Dumbledore beard sitting on a cloud. I just mean that I believe that there is a higher power that helps us people along the way by giving us miracles and serendipity. Human rights is what I believe in the most, and there won't be any peace in this world without it. One of my favorite quotes ever is "Fighting for peace is like fucking for virginity". To me that sounds so right because its true. It is 2014 and there's still war going on, yet everyone seems to want peace. Where is the logic in that?

When I was twelve or thirteen years old, I made my own religion called Martism. In that religion everyone was allowed to do whatever they wanted as long as they showed respect for everyone else. Michael Jackson was God and after someone dies, they become an angel, but from Earth it's a star and occasionally these angels could come to us as ghosts. I still believe in some of these things. Well I don't know if it is more of a belief or a hope for it to maybe be true haha.

I believe in ghosts and demons. Ghosts are good however, they are just the present of people's past. Demons are not and they are not to be taken as a joke. I also believe in witches but I do not think that just anyone is strong enough to work with witch craft.

I do not believe that everything happens for a reason, and I think that everyone has their own right to express their beliefs. But no one should believe in something so much they would die for it, because there is always the chance they could be wrong. I mean after all, we are all the same under all the clothes, words, prayers; we are all just human.

I was hoping for it to have gone better but I can't complain :) I couldn't send the entire file to my computer so I could only post the beginning and that is my part so I hope you guys can enjoy it anyway. "Stay with me"

Hey guys! Today was my concert! Gaaah! I spent the whole day at rehearsal and my feet started hurting so bad by the end of it but there was nothing to do but just live through it. At seven it finally started. I had such a wonderful support team to come and hear me sing. Both my grandmothers and my grandfather, my mother came all the way from Switzerland and my best friend Jesper. It meant a lot. It all went good and it didn't take too long, however I think that the song I had a solo part in, Stay With Me, went a lot better during the rehearsal but it wasn't too bad. I'll post a video tomorrow that Jesper took :) after the concert I got flowers from my grandparents! <3 and then my mother took me out to dinner at her favorite restaurant Lemongrass. I am home now after a long day, tired from these past days and nights. Goodnight all readers! 

16. Mainstream music

My taste in music is all over the place. When I am out with my friends and just in a dancing mood I love house, when I am at home I love rock or hip hop etc. I listen to old school and the new. When it comes to mainstream music then it depends on the specific song. Obviously the songs are "mainstream" because they get played a lot because they are good and people enjoy listening to them. Some songs have really good beat and some has really good lyrics while others are just shit. For a song to be good it either has to have lyrics that mean something and is memorable or a beat that will make you want to dance like a monkey.
I hear a big difference in today's music and old school music, and a lot of the time I don't think think that there is as much "magic" in the music anymore because so much of it is done on the computer. Also a lot of the songs have the same beat and lyrics throughout the entire thing. But really if you think about it, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles etc they all sang about sex and drugs too so the difference there isn't actually that big. However sometimes it is just so fun to stand on a dancefloor somewhere surrounded by lots of people with a beat and just dance. Gives me goosebumps.

Dinner with the best

I went to town pretty early today for singing rehearsal since tomorrow is the big concert. Gah nervous! I hope it goes well. After that I went over to Rita's place for dinner. We made homemade pizza which is always amazing. I then dyed her hair and it turned out really good. I am so in the mood of dying my hair again and I think I know just what I want😃 we then watched a movie and some episodes of friends. I am on my way home now and I am going to clean up because my mama is coming tomorrow. I honestly haven't slept in forever but I think I'm like overtired so I don't feel it anymore haha. Good thing or not?

Number 15 is actually my favorite tumblrs but since I don't read any tumblrs nor that many blogs anymore I just want to write about Linneas blog. L has been a very good friend to me for as long as I've known her and I hope she enjoys her last few months in the USA.

Late night post

Guess what? I'm superwoman! Friday night, I didn't sleep because I was at a birthday party and didn't come home until 7am Saturday and then I took a little nap. Saturday night I had to work the night shift so I was awake all night again and didn't come home until ten and then I took a nap around two to three when I came back today. Today, Sunday I once again had the night shift so I was in the bath tub and then by 11 I got here. So now I'm here. Third night in a row where I don't sleep and oddly enough, I don't feel the slightest bit tired at this point. Tomorrow I end at 7am I think and when I get home I have to clean since my mum is coming on Tuesday together with the cleaning lady, then I am going to town to practice for the concert I have on Tuesday and then I'm dying Rita's hair and having dinner at her place. When I get home again late probably I will need to clean so tomorrow won't be too much sleep for me either but at least there will be some. I feel like superwoman. Right now I am keeping one of the kitties awake for hospital reasons while watching The Horse Whisperer. I loved this movie as a kid!❤️❤️

14. My earliest memory

I have a lot of little like flashback memories from when I was a kid, Like I remember my mum standing by a painting in our new place when we first moved to Singapore, and I remember getting my hand stuck in some glass door at our first home in Sweden. I also remember walking down the stairs with a doll that was all wet and my sister thought I had peed on the stairs haha but I can't remember in what home that was just that I was around 3 then. One memory I have pretty clear that is probably my first clear one is when I was maybe three years old and my parents took my siblings and I to Lego Land in Denmark. I don't remember much from the day except for the part where I got my face painted as a dog. I remember that so well and I even know what my clothes looked like. That was fun. I haven't changed a bit since I still love getting face painted haha. There are pictures in Switzerland but none here from that day though, but I'll show them when I go to Swiss. For now I can please ya'll with some other baby pictures of me :)

Aw I wish I was this little again. So little and cute, no responsibilities and no worries! 

Aladdin

I got to work about 1.5 hours ago and when I put on the tv here, Aladdin was playing! I love that movie. I haven't seen it in years though. Last night was BTs birthday party so we all met at Möllan where we went to a bar and then we went to his and Rita's place where we drank more. I think we all had a few drinks too many so today I've been pretty tired and hungover so I have been resting all day. But I am all good now and happy to work so I don't feel completely useless. 

13. Somewhere I'd like to move or visit

Since I am already moving to Australia then that is where I want to move, for now. But I've always moved around so that may change. I like tropical places so I want to go to places like Fiji which is close to Australia so maybe :) Then I am absolutely in love with Africa and I want to go to more African countries. One place however that I have ALWAYS dreamed of going to is Tokyo. It looks like an amazing place with a unique culture.
