I know that summer has been over for a few weeks now, or months maybe. I don't keep track, but the weather has still been good. Except today. Brrrrrrr I say. It was winter cold outside today :( Fall really is here now. Rainy and grey. Not my cup of tea I must say. I even froze leaving the gym today all sweaty, that if anything is a bad sign. It makes me want to go to Austalia even more now. Or Kenya rather, I've been missing it a little extra lately. But oh well.
The one thing I do however like about fall, is halloween. I am in fact a super natural freak haha and I love scary things, so halloween is actually one of my favorite holidays. But it isn't every year that I get the chance to celebrate it the way it should be. This year however, Jesper and I are going to an epic halloween party so 2014 will deffo be a good spent halloween that is celebrated the way it should be :)

Not OK!
Good Morning readers :) Or rather good evening. I woke up several hours ago but I still haven't left my bed. Hihi! The weather outside it horrible from what I can see, gray and rainy :( so I am not wasting any time acting like a potato laying in bed, cuddling with my bunny. I'll get up eventually.
A thought occurred to me this morning. I was wondering how many people there actually are who would buy cigarettes and booze to minors. How many people actually think that isn't a problem? I think it was just last week when I was wandering around town with Rita when a group of boys that looked to be about thirteen asked if we wanted to buy cigarettes for them. I just stared at their baby faces and said no! They looked like babies and talked with light voices. Are they planning on getting whiskey voices before their manly puberty voices?
If a legal person wants to smoke and drink, sure yeah whatever, but don't buy it to little kids on the street who only want to look cool and badass. They look anything but. They look ridiculous and when they are old enough to buy it themselves, they will be laughing at how pathetic they use to be.
I guess it is one thing if someone you know is about the age of 17 and they are going to party, because then you can at least be responsible for how much liquor or whatever this person gets in them, and truth is, if they don't get it from you, they will get it elsewhere. But personally, I don't want to be responsible for thirteen year old boys who only want to look cool and impress. When they are that little, they are still not fully matured mentally nor physically to handle it the way adults can.
So think about this legal people, don't say yes, don't be responsible for their actions, be for your own. I sit and think back to my teenage days and wish that someone would've told me this then. But I would've probably just laughed at them anyway because that is just how those annoying teens work.

How to win a woman's heart
How does a man win a woman's heart? That is the worlds biggest mystery because well, women are complicated and men are clueless. It is always the same fights between most couples and I read an article about it this morning, and it caught my interest.
I am a woman, obviously, and because of that, I have to take the women side, the complicated one. So this post will give men more help, rather than women. So men, want to know how to win a woman's heart? Follow these steps, memorize them and never, I repeat NEVER forget them.
- Make Time- Even if you are the busiest man on Earth, always make time. Time to take her to dinner, time to spend the night. It works if you work it. And if you have something else that you MUST do, then still make time to call her, or text her. That way you show her that she is a priority and that you care.
- Active Listener- Always listen! A woman always has something on her mind, and has always something to say, no matter what it is about. Try really hard to not disagree with her, and when you do, still value her opinions. Make sure you don't do all the talking because it will bore her. Smile and nod, and give good responses to what she says.
- Body Language- Body language says it all. If you sense a cold, or mad vibe from her, then she is! It doesn't help you asking if something is wrong because she will most likely say no and then get mad at you for not making her feel better. It is all in her body. Ask her several times what is wrong. Touch her, hug her, kiss her, let her know you are there for her anyway. If she gives off a good vibe, try really hard avoiding anything that may change that.
- Reassure Her- A woman needs to know how others feel, they assume a lot and that can go very, very wrong. Reassure her every day how you feel by telling her you love her, or how beautiful she looks, even when she looks pretty dull and sick. Hold her hand, and tuck her hair behind her ear and keep holding her close so she knows that you are her safe space, If you find another woman attractive, for example one of her friends, don't make too much eye contact. Woman know which girls are hot and who are not, and if you just spend your time looking at your woman rather than the other hot girl, she will feel like she can trust you.
- Show Interest- Being enthusiastic in everything that she is excited about is extremely important. It is telling her "what's yours is mine" and she will feel more comfortable sharing things with you. Do the things that she wants to do with her, and give her ideas about some things that you are in interested it, so she knows that it is a two way street. Open up to her so she knows that you value her opinion.

Saddest TV show deaths
Last night when I was watching TV during my break, I came across a "program" about the saddest TV deaths of all time. I have watched a lot of series, and gotten to know a lot of characters as they live out their lives involving, love, tragedy, friendships and death. I must admit though, I hadn't seen most of the shows that were mentioned, weird huh? Haha!
At the risk of spoiling too much for my readers, I am going to blog about the deaths in TV shows that I find the saddest and has effected me the most.
The OC
Marissa Cooper
The OC in my opinion is one of the best teen high school shows ever UNTIL Marissa's death. It honestly just went downhill from there, no wonder the show was canceled. Marissa was a bit annoying and dramatic at times, but I personally liked her because she did a lot of good too and she gave the other characters a stable relationship with each other too. When she died in the car accident on the way to the airport that was caused by Volchoc, I cried like a baby :( Poor Ryan, Summer and Julie!

Dawson's Creek
Jen Lindley
Another awesome teen high school show made in the 90's. Complicated relationships and strong friendships that are forever. The very last episode of the entire show, is like no other when one of the main characters Jen dies of a rare heart disease. Like seriously? The show was going to end, why kill her? Very sad, especially when she left her unborn child behind.
One Tree Hill
Keith Scott
Another amazing show about teens that later become young adults. One of my favorite shows with valuble life lessons. The father figure, Keith doesn't only leave the watches devestated when he gets shot in the middle of season three, but also shocked knowing that his brother Dan was the one pulling the trigger. He was just starting his life for real and all his dreams were coming true. Way too sad!
The Vampire Diaries
Elena Gilbert
The Vampire Diaries doesn't only kill everyone, but everyone comes back one way or the other, so it ends happily but while the deaths do actually happen, they are pretty sad. Elena Gilbert, the main character, dies and leaves two boys scared and heartbroken. A lot of worry and stress comes over one in that episode, but no surprise she comes back as a vampire. Thank god.
Bonnie Bennett
Elena isn't the only one from VD that dies, no her best friend Bonnie too. Several times in fact and it is always sad. The latest episode, she once again died and it did in fact again bring tears to my eyes. I just wonder how long she will be gone this time.
Jeremy Gilbert
While Elena and Bonnie were busy dying and coming back, they lose their beloved Jeremy. The boyfriend of Bonnie and brother of Elena. He of course comes back eventually too but the episode he died, was so intense and so sad, I think I cried through the entire thing. The acting was also the best they have ever done.
90210
Raj Kher
Raj, he wasn't one of the main characters but he did have a big role of the show for more than one season. His death was expected but I don't think I was the only one who lost it when Ivy (his wife) finds him in the hospital and spends his last moments with him. So sad. Heartbreaking, really!
Grey's Anatomy
George O'Malley
Which show has killed off more characters, am I right? One of the first main character to go was George. His death was sudden and honestly just so sad. It was clear how it effected the other characters, and that George would be held in everyones hearts forever.
Lexie Grey
Oh Lexie, I think the time I've cried the most while watching a show was when Lexie died. She was my absolute favorite in the entire show, Grey's Anatomy. The way she died was so shocking and it hurts me just thinking about it. It effected every single character and veiwer. RIP!
Mark Sloan
One of my other fave characters from Grey's Anatomy. He literally died of a broken heart from losing Lexie, the love of his life. I felt like I could relate to the character on some level and I honestly thought he was going to survive. Honestly they can't kill Lexie, and then Mark an episode later. No, ruined the show :(
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Angel
Buffy, the BEST show ever! Angel doesn't only die, but he goes evil and has to be killed by Buffy, the love of his life. Angel eventually comes back but when Buffy stabs him, I can hardly watch. It is so horrible and sad, and the tears fall like no other.
Joyce Summers
Angel isn't the only one who leaves Buffy and the gang behind, but Buffy's mother Joyce dies in season 5. Her death was a shock because she had gotten better and suddenly she just died out of the blue. It breaks my heart every time when Buffy finds her on the coach, breathless and cold :( Poor Buff!
Tara Maclay
The episode after Tara's death is probably one of my favorite episodes in the history of episodes, and I don't only mean in Buffy. It is so intense. Tara's death was unexpected, insane and it literally turned her girlfriend, Willow evil. Extremely sad and just the craziest death on TV.

24 hour shift
As you guys are out with your friends partying and getting drunk, I'm working. I've been working since 9am today and I end 9am tomorrow. I've been lifting and figuring things out and my entire body hurts. I am going to sleep when I get home tomorrow.
I worked yesterday until six, then Bea came to my place. We had dinner, gossiped and drank some wine. The night still ended pretty early because of work today. Work, work, work. That's my reason for being such a crap blogger lately. I'll blog tomorrow :) party for me everyone!

#Tbt
Today I miss Kenya a little extra. I don't know what it is. It isn't the things that I usually miss like my friends, the night life etc but today I miss the little details. The red colours of the Masai's clothes, the green fields the lions chased the zebras at, the military tents with beautiful outdoor showers. Masai Mara! Safari. I miss the opportunity I had to see real animals, not Zoo kept animals, but wild beautiful free animals. I miss the smell of dirt and blood which doesn't sound appealing but it means something.
It is Thursday today, which means #ThrowbackThursday to the first time my school took us to Masai Mara! Thanks for the memories!

❤️
My free day was spent in town today. I first had singing lessons which was really good today. I don't mean to be cheesy but I sang from my heart haha! I sang out my bad feelings from last week. It's like therapy and I feel better now. Then I met Rita and we ate an early dinner at subway. We walked around town and talked about the usual. Tomorrow is Friday and I will be working. Then on Saturday I have a 24 hour shift so today when I got back home, I bought some candy and now I'm watching a movie to chill a bit before the weekend. Bea is coming over for dinner tomorrow though because she will then be moving to Australia for a year so I won't see her until then so obviously I decided to take my time to spend some time with her to have fun and say bye. I will miss her but it's not long until I come to Australia too! Early night for me later though because of work and I need to sleep. Haha! So party hard for me this weekend readers❤️

Should I be worried?
Nosebleeds isn't something that I get too often off, every now and then I guess like a normal person but lately it has been happening constantly. It started two days ago. It was night and I was watching TV when I suddenly realize blood on my shirt. Not only does it come out of my nose, but my throat too and I choke on it. It is so disgusting. It happened during dinner with Jesper and I had to run to the sink and he said that it looked like someone had been murdered in the sink. It has now happened six times in less than two days. It is honestly so scary and obviously I start expecting the worst haha but it is probably something else.
Does anyone have any idea what the cause can be? Or how to treat it? Please tell me! :)

Day in the kitchen
Yesterday I had to much free time on my hands that I decided to make a bunch of stuff! First I baked one huge ass chocolate chip cookie. Then I made a stew and then risotto. I obviously couldn't eat it all alone, so I invited Jesper over and we still didn't finish it all. We then decided to brainstorm costumes because we are invited to a really epic Halloween party. It was fun. But he left around 11 and I cleaned up a bit before hitting the sack. Today I start working at 4 so before then I am going to clean the kitchen haha. Tomorrow I am going in to town to first go singing because it has been too long and then meet Rita :)

Salmon and goat cheese salad
Last night when I came home from work I made my own salmon and goat cheese salad. It was amazing! and easy to make, so I am going to share that recipe here on the blog.
1. Coat the salmon and large pieces of goat cheese with honey and place it in the oven
2. Fry some onion and broccolli with some oil or butter
3. Chop vegetables of your choice and place in a bowl
4. Mix the fried veggies with the other veggies
5. Flavor the veggies with salt, oil and a flavored vinegar, for example Raspberry and Apple vinegar
6. Chop the salmon into pieces and add it to the salad. Place the cheese on top of the salad.
Next step: Eat and enjoy! ;)

#Heforshe
Word!!! I thought I respected this woman before, now I am sure. The things she said, the message she came across, amazing! I am touched and I don't know who could've said it better!
I think it is important that we don't just listen, but we take action too! Equality is king!

Do you know what today is?
Monday, yeah! But not only is it Monday, but today is exactly 20 years ago that the pilot of Friends was released. Insane, huh?
Friends is not only the best show ever made, but it is the only show on this planet that can literally turn the worst day ever to a good day. I think I've seen every single episode about 20 times each. At least! And if it were up to me, the show would still be going on.
The characters are perfect, the story line is perfect. everything is perfect and I cannot explain how much I love the show.
Thank you Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, David Schwimmer, Matt Leblanc, Matthew Perry and Lisa Kudrow, thank you Friends for making my 20 years of existence, just that much better. You guys are awesome and in my mind you guys will always be Rachel, Monica, Ross, Joey, Chandler and Phoebe! LOVE YOU ALL!!!!

Sunday
Good morning my fellow readers! I woke up about twenty minutes ago and I've been cleaning up a bit since then. Yesterday was a really good day. I was so sick of being sick stuck in my house so even though I don't have a voice and cough all the time, I took myself to town. I first met Karin and had lunch with her at a Thai restaurant. It was so good! Then we walked around a bit. After all that I met up with Rita and I helped her find an anniversary gift for the boyfriend. Kajsa then met up with us and we took the bus to my place where we ate pizza and gossiped about all sorts of things. It was a lot of fun. Slept really good last night too for the first time in forever :)

2012
I'm sitting here in my misery on my coach watching TV and thinking about everything. Life has it's ups and downs, its good and bad, and right now I've been feeling a little low, but that's alright because from experiences, I know that there is always a rainbow after the storm. So sooner or later it will all be OK again.
As I am now thinking a bit too much about everything, I was thinking which year has been the best of my life and I came to the conclusion that 2012 has so far been the best. That year was filled with so much love, friendship, laughter and happiness.
The first half of that year, I had my group of friends. I had Anna and we were inseparable and we also had something crazy we were doing. Every weekend there were parties and new relationships were made. Then the summer came and it was hands down the best summer of my entire life. Spending two weeks at Rita's with my friends was just awesome. We partied every single night. When the summer ended and I was back in Kenya, I made new great friends. The school had turned into a party place and every day was something new happening. The year couldn't have ended in a more epic way either.
I miss these days so much. Being stupid and crazy is so much more fun!! 2012, thank you for being so awesome. I wish I get more years like it.
