Elections

It is the Swedish elections, and honestly, I know a little about every party but politics to me, is a snooze fest! No, thank you! I am a believer in feminism, gay rights, black rights etc and I enjoy pride parades and such but that is as far as my politician side can take. However I do still want to know what is happening in Sweden, and how things work and such so that is why I decided to read a bit about each party and in my opinion I don't think any parties are actually that good. None really blew my mind and I seem to disagree a lot with all of them.

However, I did put my foot down and decided to vote on one specific party anyway, which one I will not say but it is one that I still thought was alright but to be honest, it wasn't so much because I want that specific party to win, it was because I would not want the Swedish Democrats to win. In my opinion, they are racist and close minded. The fact that more and more people vote for them every election is shocking to me. They are not much better than Nazis, they are Nazis even! Elderly people who lived through World War II know how hard and horrible those times were and yet many of these people still vote for the Swedish Democrats, I can't seem to get my head around that. But then again, I know very little about it all so this is only how far my knowledge will take my opinion.

It is 2014 though, time to learn from this worlds past mistakes, it is time to accept others for who they are and appriciate different cultures and learn from each other!
