Weekends over

Ah, so another weekend has past and we are back to Monday. But that will go by quickly. I have a lot to do this week starting today but only exciting stuff so that is good :) I'm heading off to town in a bit to take care of some business and then I am having dinner with a friend I haven't seen in over a year :)

This weekend has been very chill, my sister came for two days so I stayed home for the most part, but it has been a good weekend anyway :)

and by the way, it is September now, let that sink in....

Friday: On Friday my dad, grandma and I had lunch at my uncles. He has a new place so we saw that for the first time. It was nice and the food was good. My dad then dropped my grandmother off at her place and me at Rita's place while he went for a meeting. Rita was a bit sick so we just stayed in her room and watched Freaks and Geeks. My dad came to pick me up a couple of hours later and we went to buy some candy. My sister arrived later that day, and my mum made some fancy risotto with duck for us.

Saturday: My dad left for Turkey on saturday. My sister and I decided to be very nice and bake for our mum and brother. We spent the entire day making my specialty, triple chocolate cheesecake. Yum! At night when we ate the cake, we also made raspberry cocktails and they were so good! Otto then left with his friends so my mum, sister and I watched a new girl movie called Love Punch. 

Sunday: Yesterday, my sisters last few hours and my brothers last day before he heads off to Tanzania for two months. I was suppose to have lunch with my friend then but the city was flooded from the storm the night before. Busses weren't going and it was just terrible. I spent the day inside for the most part watching movies, I even watched Hunger Games. LOVED IT! Then I went for a one hour walk in the rain, listening to music and just getting some fresh air. Thank god the weather is better today, almost sunny.
