5. Some of my favorite memories

2012 when I lived in Kenya, we went on a school trip for a week to first a place called Kusa and then a bigger city called Kisumu. Back then Anna and I were inseparable and we spent every moment together. So the last night of this trip we all spent at a hotel in Kisumu and Anna and I shared a room obviously. That night back at the hotel there wasn't much to do so we just stayed in bed talking about random stuff, what exactly I can't remember. Somehow we started talking about our friend Shaul and how neither of us had ever heard that name before. For some reason we started singing about him, then we exchanged words in songs to his name. "EVERYDAY I'M SHAULIIIING" "THERE'S A SHAUL IN THE CLOSET" etc. I don't think I have ever seen Anna laugh that hard before. I swear I got a six pack from that. We sang for hours and hours, and talked about it for weeks after. It was so much fun!

Halloween 2012 I spent the entire day with my two friend Saga and Riz. I don't know what the plan was but we drove all over Nairobi. We went to Gnong Hills, the giraffe center (we even drove to the back to be right next to giraffes), we had dinner at Art Café. Then there was a halloween party at club Volar that we went too. We had our faces pained, we danced around and talked to people. Saga and Riz disapeared for a while too and I was stuck with some guys talking to them and I don't even remember what all of that was about but it was one hell of a day.

Summer 2012 my birthday was on the same day as Midsommar (a Swedish holiday). Every midsommar we meet up with my parents friends somewhere and we drink and eat and talk. That year I invited Rita and Julia to come too. Together with my dads friends we drank, and sang and danced around. So fun! The day after that I wanted to celebrate my birthday. Rita and Julia were already there, Jesper, Alice, Ebba, Oscar, Linnea and Amanda came over. We ate good food and played volleyball. Then we all went for a walk and somehow Julia and Alice manages to get lost and none of them had any phones. We spend two hours looking for them in the dark forest. At the time it was so annoying but thinking back now, it is just funny. Ebba, Oscar and Alice then went home but the others stayed. We were just talking when Rita says something that sounded like "I think I have bajs in my pants". Jesper, Amanda and I were the only ones who got it so we all literally fell on the floor from laughing so hard. I had tears in my eyes and I couldn't breathe it was so funny. What she had meant to say was "I think I had bugs in my pants". When the others were going home, I was sitting at the bus stop with them. We were all joking around and playing and laughing when Amanda somehow manages to fall and make the best face plant I have ever seen. Julia freaks out and yells at Jesper who was standing two meters away. We were all laughing so hard.

Later in the summer of 2012, Julia, Kajsa and I spent two weeks at Rita's place while her parents and sister were on vacation. Now, I am not even going to bring up all the fucked up things we did but it was the most fun ever. Amanda came over some days, Jesper were over other days. We went out everyday, I can't remember ever eating...? haha. We met new people all the time. It was just insane but it was always fun. Everyday was a new adventure.

Easter break 2013, I went with some people from my school to Uganda and then Rwanda for a week. That entire week was awesome. We did things all the time and we had so much freedom. We went on a gorilla walk, we river rafted in the Nile and did so many other things. I remember the last night, Bea, Isabelle, Emma, Julia and I went out and stayed out until the sun rised. We were first at some local club where we got hit on by some many weird people. We then went to another club which was really fun and we met all these people. Awesome, just awesome night. Amazing trip. Love! 

Uganda

Oh my jeez I have so many memories now I just want to write about but I think I will stop with this post now. I do however think I should start writing more about the past and things I've been through. Remembering is important and memories are precious. Can't wait to make lots more in the future, wherever it is I'll be ending up later in my life :)
