Strawberries and champagne

Last night I got a message from my friend Ebba. She asked me to hang out today since she will be dog sitting for her grandmother who lives like two minutes away from me. Of course I wanted to hang out with her today, I haven't seen her in ages and we always have a lot of fun together. This morning when I got up, I ate breakfast, got ready and went to meet her instantly. We went to buy strawberries before going to her place. Her grandmother had left her some champagne so we chopped some strawberries up, put the pieces in two glasses and filled the glasses with champagne. We took a bag of nuts and the rest of the strawberries out. The glasses of champagne just kept getting filled and filled and before we knew it, the entire bottle was empty but we had some interesting conversations while drinking it and eating about life, death, love, friendship etc. She is the type of person who is really open and easy to talk to. Like really have an interesting conversation with and that is probably why we are such good friends even though we see each other less than wanted but it is hard making it work often living such two different lives. So this has been a good start to this weekend :)
